Here are some pictures of my restoration in process: This is a nice lathe and a joy to use. If anyone has any dirty paper for this model I would be interested in hearing from you.

Collet rack and shot of motor - Original 2-speed 1 HP controlled by VFD and two pots in parallel to get both speeds; runs smooth as can be - other than cosmetics all I did was change the bearings. I used the original drum switches and levers as the logic switching inputs to the VFD. My goal was to maintain the original control scheme so that an old-timer could just walk up and start using it like in the old days - this is a WWII era machine - goal accomplished. :)
