50’s Dewalt MBC radial arm saw

Had a similar self-induced problem with my Delta saw yesterday. After installing the casters, I reinstalled the table. When checking the crosscut it was obvious the blade wasn't at 90* to the fence. I checked all the scales, stops, and adjustments and nothing had changed from the day I got it. I stood there scratching my head for a while before it finally dawned on me there was sufficient clearance in the table to frame mounting holes to cause the problem. I loosened the bolts, tapped on the rear of the table to align it and retightened the bolts. Everything is square once again.

Working on dust collection while I wait for my blade to arrive. I’ve already found issues with my plan, and got ahead of myself with the glue and screws. But I got sore…So I quit for now. The top isn’t attached yet thankfully, because it’ll have to be modified so as not to interfere with miter cuts, or the column lock knob and lever.
