I have a #5 MT on my lathe, which I think is pretty big. A guy on Craigslist had a bunch of #7MT centers and sleeves. Anyone use or have anything this big? Pictures?

I've seen lathes with No. 6 Morse taper. Never seen one with a No. 7! At one time, it was common taper on HBM's but that's been replaced with Nat'l 50 and 60 tapers.

I recently sold several #7 & #6 taper adaptors.
Huge!
Yep, the guy need them for his HBM.
I don't have any pics.

A foot long and 2.5" diameter? Nice piece of steel to make something out of. You'll need that dead center if you turn a lot of battleship drive shafts.

WreckWreck,
Need any taper adaptors?
