Came across this tool on another forum and though it would be of interest.
Called Vampliers, these are designed to grasp rusted or damaged screws and remove them.
I know vice grips work for this (usually what I use), but these look potentially better since they're
designed for the purpose. Made in Japan.

While I'm at it, this tool is one that I bought a couple of years ago and have found useful:
a cable tie cutter. Notice the tip is 90 degrees to the cutting edge, which allows it to be slipped
under the cable tie without danger of clipping a wire. They're actually quite nice to use.
