They will still offer the standard lifetime license at normal pricing, but have decided to jump on the subscription bandwagon like Fusion, etc.
While not for me, I an totally see how this might attract someone who doesn't want to drop the big lump-sum price of a lifetime license.
10$ per month or 100$ yearly for Atom, 30$ a month or 300$ yearly for Design Pro and 50$ a month or 500$ per year, for Design Expert isn't too bad.
