Any idea who made this chuck? Bird logo.

I have a 6 inch 3 jaw chuck that came on my lathe. I bought the lathe used (smithy granite 1324), so I do not know if it is original or not. It has a small disc logo in the face of it that has a bird on it, it looks like a dove. I have the original 4 jaw chuck and it also has a disc in the face like this one, but it actually says smithy. So that makes me wonder if it is original or not. I was wondering if anyone might know who made it or anything about it? Its got one peice jaws and a extra set of jaws for external holding.

Looks to be made by Baige. They used the bird trade mark, see site below. A quick search brings up a Chinese company that makes drill chucks.

That looks just like it other than the logo being slightly different, but the bird itself looks the same.
There looks to be a whole lot of nothing on the net about these. I found the same sight you mentioned. Maybe they used to make lathe chucks and dropped them in favor or drill chucks? Who knows.
Anyways, thanks for the reply. I will be selling it and I figured a buyer might want to know the brand.
