I came across this interesting lathe, and was curious if anyone had any info on this make. I suspect the nameplate is a rebadge of a different manufacturer. I'm going to be honest, this is the first lathe I've seen without a bed or tailstock. I'm guessing it is just used for facing??

That machine is often called a second operation lathe.
Hardinge ,Schaublin and Feeler have a few different styles.
The square headstock on yours is common on the SOLs from India.
They often come with a turret tail stock on a short bed.

If the right machine was for sale in my area i would buy one.

Odd that there is no real address, just NY, NY. No Zipcode makes me think mid 1960s or earlier.

I figured it was some sort of second op lathe, but Ive only ever seen them with a turret. This one may not have all the pieces.. Anyway, it isn't mine. I just saw it and was curious about it. Thanks for the replies!
