Ball Spring Plungers

Hey Folks!

I hope everyone had a very pleasant Christmas and new year!

I am trying to find a source for very small ball and spring plungers. They need to be less than .125" in body length. So far all of my searching has turned up nothing shorter than 3.5mm and I figured maybe there was someone who worked in an industry that used micro ball spring plungers and might know where I can get my hands on them.

I don't know how they could be made much shorter than what is available. Maybe give us some information about the application and we can help with an alternative idea?

They used to make Valear Pins in that length. Hope I spelled it right?

It is to "lock" a very small rotating piece in place, I don't have much room to spare. I think RJ pointed me in the perfect direction. Thanks for the offer to figure out alternatives, I really appreciate it!
