I am try to find a upper bearing block for my 4x6 band saw.

I have a older ohio forge 4x6 saw.

But can't find a parts list.

The Part number on the jet 4x6 is HVBS462-064-1 Looks just like it.

I looked on grizzly also.

Anyone have one they would be willing to sell, please let me know.

thank you

get on ebay and type in :biggrin:pillow block and pick which one you need, they are 1000s on there if this is what your looking for

the block i am looking for is to keep blade in line back bearing and one bearing on each side of the blade.

thanks

My guides look like these.

thanks.

Lots of information, files, photos and expertise. Hopefully a Grizzly part will fit as they seem to have the best customer service and parts facilities.

I can see the picture in my post.

can anyone else see the picture?

thanks

Thanks anyway.

Maybe some one has one or I can take a chance and order one from Grizzly.

What is wrong with the ones you have? I have an Atlas saw and my guides were disintegrated so I made my own out of blocks of aluminum. See attached. Nick

Smokez3,

I agree with Nicky. I had an old Dayton (Grainger) band saw and they discontinued stocking parts for it. The guide bearings are fairly standard and the bracket can be made from aluminum or other material if you have a small mill. It worked for me. Also had to convert a stock set of worm gears from Boston Gear to fit it.
