Now that I think I need an arbor support for my new 16, has anyone ever cast new ones? Does anyone have prints on these?

VN Casting New Arbor Supports?

Jason,
Dennis Danich will be teaching our scraping class here in MN. He did a couple years in a foundry in his youth. He has told me his is very willing to help me cast some VN supports. It's my understanding that aluminum will be an acceptable material.
It's my intent to pour some arbors come spring. Would you like to come up and join us?

Possibly, depends on when and where you are in MN. I have the original one for my 12, in fact it's stamped 00, along with all the major components, so I would only need one for this 16.
One thought would be to print one with a 3D printer, as use it as a lost mold for the final product.
