Hi all -
My Clausing 1501 lathe keeps sproinging the counterbalance spring (that balances the speed control hydraulics) and I'm getting tired of un-sproinging it every year or so. The mainspring broke at the end and I can get it to hold for a while but eventually it lets go again.
It's Clausing part number 1400-34 "spring and housing" and if anyone has something like that leftover from a rebuild or that they no longer need, please let me know - otherwise I'll have to instigate much wailing and crying due to the squeezing and twisting of my credit card as I order one from the source
Thanks in advance
