I am stuck trying to remove the block at the right of the machine which acts as a bearing for the leadscrew, power feed rod and switch rod.
I have removed the two capscrews and tapped it with hammers with increasing force but it is stuck solid. I have watched some videos on youtube on similar lathes and they all show this block coming off easily as you would expect.
This video shows removing the two locating pins prior to removing the capscrews, I can see no way to remove mine, there are pins in the hole, but recessed down with no obvious way to remove.
Just wondering if anybody has struck this issue on one of these lathes in case there is something I have missed before I resort to bigger hammer to try and resolve it.

thanks for any insights you may be able to provide
Mark
