Purchased this through an auction without looking up size. Way too large for my Bridgeport. I disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and reassembled. Is now in great shape. Would like to trade for a boring head that will work with my Bridgeport. Any takers?

Straight shank or 40 or 50 taper?

1-1/4 inch straight shank with 4 flats 90 degrees apart. Takes 1 inch diameter boring bars.

Canus,
I already have a DBL-204. it's a solid boring head.
With the correct set up this might also be used as an offset taper attachment for a lathe with a tailstock sturdy enough to handle it.

I'm certain close inspection shows the shank threads into the body, and is therefore replaceable.
I'd suggest R8 for maximum rigidity.
A 4" head is not to large for a turret mill. Close but...
With a lot of offset you have to keep RPM down, and/or balance the cutter assembly

However, if there is no interest changing it, we might negotiate, having spindles from R8 to NMTB #50
