Crossing out jig

When making a clock the gears have to be lightened because they are constantly stopping and starting and this consumes power if the gears are heavy.

Marking out the gears is time consuming especially for the ones with tapered spokes so this jig makes the job easy, by sliding the pointer up or down the width of the spokes can be adjusted for gears of different sizes
this was the first gear marked out with this jig.
