Danly die??

Any idea of what type of steel and machineability this die is made of and any ideas for what I should make out of them?? Angle blocks, toolmaker vise sine plate etc?? Thanks and the material is 6x24 1.125 thickness top plate and 1.45” thick bottom plate

I can find out next week. I will have Christmas dinner with a guy who works there.
I saw your post on another section on here. I don't think the top and bottom are anything exotic.

Thanks and other than being precision ground I realized when I started machining they are not. I would like to know tho what grade steel they are because I decided to make a new cross slide female top for my lathe and in the process of machining a pocket for which will be the dovetail slide but thanks for your help and have a good Christmas
