Resolved Delete profile, or combine with another?

This profile "mr fixit" is what I signed up with, before I knew there were already members using a variation of that name. I made a new profile "Investigator" and only use that. I would like to use the email I signed up with on this profile to receive notifications. Can an administrator or Moderator make the "mr fixit" profile go away?

Hi Scott, I'll take care of it, thanks for bringing to our attention. I cannot delete the profile as that will screw up our database. However, I can inactivate it and nobody will be able to access it again.
