Took a lot of tweaking in the slicer, but finally got a good print with an embedded nut

I assume you set up a pause at the right layer height in order to insert the nut? What challenges did you face?

Correct, pause at layer. The biggest problem was the head would raise at pause and then not lower when it resumed, so it was extruding in midair.
I went from Cura slicer to the Creality slicer and got it working. It still extrudes a little blob when it resumes, need to adjust that
