Fairbanks Morse 1/2hp 3phase

So I have this motor that is on my Tree Mill 2UVR. It drives my x feed. It is just humming now.

A bit of background. This has been running in my garage using a 3hp static Phase-a-Matic for 20 plus years. Spindle motor works fine still.

I took the cover off and noticed it is trying to start. I gave the fan a spin and it runs. But only at 20% rpm. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it just failed after 20 years then probably you lost a winding or there's a problem with power not getting to it
Maybe time to update your power feed?

Maybe so. I will need to see if I can retro fit one of the crank mounted units. Then it would be 110volts. Probably a lot cheaper in the long run also.
