Felt Ways Wiper Help

I am cleaning up my Ex-Cell-O 602. The way wipers need replacing.
One can find kits for BP models, but of course not for XLO.

Can anyone point me either to kits for my machine or felt stock I could use to cut my own?
I don't know the specs for the material, I don't want to buy just any random felt.

Jeff,

McMaster Carr sells felt in various densities. If you have a way to weigh your wipers you should be able to calculate the density that you need. I would suspect that medium/soft density felt like F5 would work just fine.

They have everything indeed. I believe it is going to be F1 or F3 judging by how hard the old stuff is.

I just picked up some grade F5 felt from my local Grainger store. It comes in various thicknesses, and I bought a piece of 3/16" thick by 1" wide by 12" long for $1.31. That should be enough to make several wipers. It appears to be very close in density to the original wipers.

A couple bucks local hardware for an inch wide roll. Thats what I use for years works for me
