A neighbor happened across a bag full of brand new two piece dies, Greenfield Little Giant brand. They are about an inch square (each half) by maybe 3/8 thick. I've looked on eBay but I'm not sure what you would need for a die stock and was wondering if you need a different round plate for each thread size? I'm sure someone on here knows all about these. I guess I'm asking what I need to buy to make use of these.

I will look today to see if I can find my little giant hand tap holders to see what size dies they take---Dave

You have the inserts that install into the round plates as replacements for the originals.

Ah ok that makes sense. The ones I looked at didn't have detailed pictures. Looks like you can use the fine or coarse dies in the same die plate? And there is a plate for each size. I'd still have to buy one of these sets to make use of those die inserts. Well I guess I got a good excuse to buy another tool...thanks for your help everyone.
