Just clocked my new (to me) Bison 3 jaw on my 12" Craftsman- getting nice runout numbers < 0.002"
granted I'm using a deep-dish socket as a test bar (Craftsman of course) but I'm pretty stoked.
I was prepared to take a skim cut on the backplate but with these numbers I don't think I need to. Looks fine as is. A turn-key purchase.

A 1/2" dial pin makes a great test bar for cheap. Mine is 3" long

Scroll seems fine, needs a cleaning cuz it is used. Checked all the jaw teeth and all good there. Numbers all match.
