I’m making a wet grinding shroud since the factory models are unicorns now. Anyone that has a 612 and grinds wet, could you please share any do’s and don’t’s that might occur. Type of coolant, also, does the coolant migrate into the oil sump? Does anyone have 612 with a 3/4” pipe coolant outlet? Mine does, but all I’ve seen is 1 1/4” outlet. Totally unsure what that means, heck of a difference in size though. Thanks for any insights, Mike

You'll get coolant into the oil sump if you grind a tall piece. Here's a nice solution.

You should have some sort of filter for your coolant.
