Help needed, Hand held Stewart Warner Tachs in their Winged logo wood box, Photos

This is a hand held tach kit. They work CW and CCW. Looking for more info, How old? Instructions and what parts look tobe missing. 1 gauge marked S-96336 and other 96335. thanks for any help.

Have you tried the tech support at Stewart Warner? Looks like they still market a version of a hand-held tachometer(http://www.stewartwarner.com/Catalog/tachhand.html) so maybe they would have knowledge of the older ones. :thinking:
