Nothing in the manual. I would assume you'd pull the pulley off the gearbox feed rather than pry the belts from one speed to another. ? This Enco has the same belt setup as the PM1236.

maybe some else can clarify this but,
is there a plate with slots cut in it for adjustment that are locked down by bolts? does the motor or an idler move to facilitate belt movement?

my 12x36 is an older Shenwai, i have a lever connected to a shaft that pivot's the motor, for belt pulley speed change.
it's probably different.

if you could post a picture that may help

Answered my own question. Needed a little more crystal blue prybar persuasion on the driven pulley.

On my PM1236 the motor is bolted onto a bracket which then bolts to the headstock. I did not have to remove any pulleys to take the belts off. Loosened the bracket from the headstock, slid the motor up, & the belts came right off.
