How much is acceptable or reasonable

It's a miracle your 3-jaw runs that true. Most import home lathe chucks won't hold those tolerances.

If you really want to make yourself crazy, turn the test bar, release it, rotate 1/2 turn, tighten the chuck and recheck. it
