Irwin Metal Cutting 14" Blade

i have not used an irwin metal cutting blade.
but i have used the freud brand blades, they are better than sliced bread.
i use them on a slow saw designed for metalcutting, the speed was not adjustable- there was a gear reduction to get the slower speeds.
experimentation with a router speed control unit may be in order...:sherlock:

I have a Makita metal cutting saw runs lower rpm then the abrasive one and that thing is wonderful. still keep the abrasive around for hardened material.

great for tube...angle iron tears them up....make sure the blade stops before you pull back up...use golf wax for aluminum

I use a 10" carbide blade for non-ferrous metal in my table saw with a slider table. It is the bee's knees.
