Got this sheet metal notcher for Christmas. Its from MSC. Yes, I am 43 and my parents still love to get me stuff for Christmas. I have never worked on one of these with the guides on the table. I find I really like them for doing multiple cuts. I did take it apart and re cut the slots in the table for the guilds. There was a lot of casting flashing in the slots. I also remade the guides with larger slots. I had not tried to grind precise angles on my surface grinder. I know the guides don't have to be perfectly 45 degrees but that doesn't mean they should not be. :lmao: As best as I can tell I got them right on 45. Also made the brass knobs for the hold downs and much larger t bolts under them out of stainless.

What, no t-shirts, and socks

Seriously, your new present looks pretty darn nice. And with your fine tuning and other mods, that should be a great tool to add to the collection.
