Logan 200 Lathe change gear positions

I'm looking at the change gear position for 24 pitch thread and it shows only 3 gears. Do I actually remove all the gears or just the screw gear. Until now I haven't had to do any threading.

Take off all of the gears except what the threading chart calls for. Although some of them might not matter if they are installed as just Idlers, there is no sense in putting operating time on gears that don't matter and don't have to be there.
