(Posting here 'cause I think it is rather general in subject matter.)

Now the Logan is acting up. -Perhaps the house is telling me to get back to the remodeling project(s) at hand instead of puddering in the shop :)
1/2 HP Craftsman on it currently, and the original leather belt from when I bought it in the '90s.
Cutting some Delrin this weekend it was bogging down, running out of ooommph.
The belt wasn't slipping (unbelievable, I know) cutting about .080" off the face, cutter sharp. It would just slow down and darn near stop.
Question is: I have a 1HP w/56 Frame that has to be at least 20 years old, would that be too much motor for the Logan?

Thanks,
_Dan

Hi i have a logan 200 and it came with a 1 hp that was fitted by the previous ownerim not sure what size frame it was though. 1 hp is not too much but the physical size caused the hood to not close completly due to how the motor is mounted i saw a website where someone else had the same problem but moved the mounting holes i think and it fit properly.
