Magnetic base drill

I bought a magnetic base drill that came in this afternoon. I picked it because it has variable speed from 0-300 rpm and 8.5" of travel. I'm sure the wattage is exaggerated but it should have a lot of torque.







There is enough travel to make using a drill chuck and standard drill bits practical. Does anyone have experience with the less expensive drill chuck adapter combos? I just want to avoid crazy run out.

Milwaukee makes one for around $75 shipped. There are much less expensive versions like the Jestuous brand on Amazon.

Any experience with the adapters?

Do you want to go from Weldon type to a drill chuck? Or Morse taper too a Jacob’s taper?Shouldn’t have much run out.

It has to be 3/4" Weldon to a drill chuck.

The Milwaukee Weldon one is a good price. Cant imagine The run out would be too bad.
