Made a Moore Tool style indicator holder for the jig borer. Next addition is the fine adjustment mechanism. 12L14 steel and gun blue finish.

Buying knobs isn't a shop project We gotta be better here at baiting folks to spend time on shop projects!

For sure knobs are a project for the little Hardinge DSM59 turret. Once I set it up, I’ll probably run a dozen or so for this and some other metrology projects I’m considering. Just need to grind a couple tools. Work really gets in the way of hobby projects.

Spend your time wisely: OP already has SHCS’s and Shear-Loc’s are a good alternative to making thumbscrews from alloy steel.
