Do I need a follow rest? For the right price I do.

I understand, I too will buy stuff if possible for the right price versus making
but sometimes ya just gotta make it...............

Not a hard thing to make, I made one once for a 14" American lathe from the 'teens, made it of 1/2" plate with the jaw slides welded on, it worked fine--- more lately, I made one for my 9" Monarch, this time from iron castings; much nicer looking!
