Carbide taps for 4142HT flat stock?
Hi Guys,
I would like to pick up some solid carbide drills, tap and endmills ,that will easily go thru .5" of 4142 ht pre hardened steel, g and p on 2 sides, 1" wide and 9" long
mcmaster-carr says their solid carbide taps are meant for rigid tapping only.
Will it work on my hand tapper?
