Need recommendation on indexable face mill for LMS 3990.
I'm going to get a face mill somewhere between 1-1.5"(would like larger but don't think it would be a good idea) and have been looking a 45degree square shoulder SEHT insert from Shars.
Will mostly be cutting aluminum with occasional steel and would like it to have an R8 shank.
I don't mind getting two face mills so I won't have to swap out inserts to change material.
Any recommendations and experience would be great.
