New Back Plate

The th_upssmiley.gif delivered my face plate and 2 machinist jacks.

The face plate is 8" Die a 1 3/8 thick it is for my 5C collet chuck and I couldn't make the jacks for 10 bucks.

I got these from tools4cheap.

I love the brown truck.:lmao: I'm with you some things just aren't worth making unless you got lots of time and you get your rocks off making chips. I tend to make the things that are not easily available or ridiculously expensive, or they just don't exist except for in the recesses of my mind. I think its a ludicrous notion to make something when you can buy it cheaply to do the same job. There are a lot of things out there that we couldn't even buy the raw material to make it for the price they're selling it already made.
