Newbie here.
Have just upgraded my 9 x 20 Lathe to a 1340 Lathe and also purchased a new PM45 Mill Drill clone.

Ended up placing the Lathe on machine mounts (weighs 650kg) and the Mill is bolted down with Clamps against leveling bolts.
Run ins are complete and I have just finished tramming the Mill Spindle to the Column and the Mill spindle to the table. Column required a couple of shims to bring it right on.
Just learning to operate the Mill and hope to pick up a number of tips from the PM45 Forum
