My second post on this forum, so feel free to laugh. My bike is a hodge-podge of Harley parts, mostly 1956 and older. Motor is a Harley Panhead. I guess now's a good time for a pic.

Welcome to H-M. We like pictures. No joke.

Welcome!
In High School I had a couple WL 45’s, Then a pan head EL 61”, although in the 60’s they were called ”Tin Cans”
Cheers.
EDIT: I hope that is still chain drive. ;-)

Welcome to the group!

With gas prices as they are, that option is really smart.

Welcome to HM! I'm a biker of sorts too but at present there is two feet of snow
that needs to go away before I can get the mine out. Your HD looks pretty nice
to me.

Ya like pictures?
the 45 three wheeler I built when I was 16
Had the orange EL, I think I was 17.
High pipes were popular, ape hangers were illegal, so everyone put flat bars on.
Don’t laugh, that was 56 yrs ago.

Thank you all for the kind words. My pan's been mine and ridable since 1978. Had the old front wheel in the Pacific, Gulf of Mexico, and the Atlantic. So it's had some miles on it. No trailers either. During the summers I rode to work and back, chased around on weekends. Not just to be economical, but because I love breathing wind.

Got you beat for old Harley, in the early 70s, I had a 1928 JDH 74 cu in, steer horn handlebars and all, sold it before any accidents that would have made it less saleable ---

Welcome to the site. Always good to have more cheap scooter trash around. I started out on a 46 FL knuckle head, with 80" flathead wheels, and have had everything from there, up to the Evo's. Pretty much where I draw the line. Not a big twin cam fan, and don't care much for the water cooled stuff, though I see the need for them to go in that direction to survive. Had several 45 servi cars too, one with a shovel upgrade. l still have several Harley's, and still ride as much as time allows.
