Here is my new PM-1236t 'just because' thread. For those who are curious I made the stand out of 2x3 .125 tube and the top is 1/4 steel sheet.

Yay, the 1236T clan is growing... keep us in the loop. Oh this ain't your regular run of the mill " just because " thread, There is no info about this illusive Puppy here or on YouTube as I'm sure you well know... I need all the gory details..

What did you do for --> setup, break in, Time to oil change, Pros & Cons about the lathe and any issues you come across while getting her in working order... You just made my day thanks.

Also I need a big favor if you have time, can you measure to center the distance across the bolts that hold the compound slide in place please...

Got a nice PBA setrite chuck for it. Does anybody know where these are made? I was hoping to see Made in USA or made in UK stamped on it somewhere. FWIW I brought this chuck from grizzly who seems to be having some massive closeout sale on these. If you need a chuck I would check them out.

I have the same chuck (Setrite) that I purchased from Grizzly quite a few years ago, it was listed on the Grizzly site and others as made in UK. PBA has a newer line of chucks "Atlas Easy-Set", they are less expensive and made in China.
