Phase II QCTP to Europe

Hi guys,

this is my first actual post (bar the introduction).
I am trying to get the best out of my small 10" italian lathe (PAV) and am after an AXA QCTP. Aloris, Dorian and the fancy swiss option are out of the question, but I think the Phase II alternative will work just fine.
My problem is that I have found no European supplier for the Phase II qctp and shipping from the US is too expensive (if the seller will ship at all...).

Any help from the guys of this side of the Atlantic?

Have you looked at Arc Euro Trade? They have one similar to Phase II. I don't know who the manufacturer is. Their piston version is listed at 113 BPounds, so is equivalent price wise.

Thanks Steve, but I think I'll go either for a new Phase II or a second hand Aloris...But Aloris as well cannot be, easily, found in Europe....

I would strongly suggest purchasing a wedge type QCTP instead of piston type. The wedge style holds the tools much more securely.

I have already contacted Enco, than will send my qctp to a friend of mine in the US to bring back home at holidays....long term project
