Looks like I need to know my password to change it to a new one. Although I'm wondering how many people would want to change a perfectly working password.. Even if they did I wonder why the system want to know your old password even though you are already logged in under that password

I've opened this thread about 5 times and I'm still impressed.
The Van Norman #12 looks like a home hobby dream machine. So cool that you have the first one. Hard to believe it looks so good after 75+ years.

Is it possible that you have production machine #1 ???
A look at the serial number page on Jim Kasunich's VN site shows that the serial numbering may have started at 5000. It could be a truly historic machine. And not bad looking for pushing 80 years old.
