I've almost completed my ~30 ton general purpose forge press device. The quick stats are 5"x10" tierod piston, 3000psi lift pump, W8x18 I-beam with a strong back, and a bunch of angry steel.

I don't like the springs, but I may have to be happy with them for now

Please view the vid for a full 'splanation, and if you've got some ideas, please share (other than: "you should have...." <---- that's always useless!)

You know, I see what you did there, and it made me smile

I believe I will go get the hydraulic hose and oil today -- but then I have to install a 30amp fuse and do some wire for it. I hope it works!
