Walt, I have made some of the arbors before, and I can get you some good closeups of the shape. It is particular, because that's what locks it into place to drive it. For one time use, it would seem like a lot of work, but you would have it from now on, and there is a variety of sizes cutters for each standard bore. I have a few but can only find one at the moment, and it is a 9/16 spot face, and the shank is 3/8" or so. If I can find one that will work for you, I'll loan it to you so you don't have to buy or build one. I'll keep looking.
