Is it practical to reach over the table to turn the crank to raise or lower the head on bench mills such as the PM-727M or Grizzly G0795? Or do you stand behind it or at the left end of the table to operate the Z axis crank? If you stand behind the mill, then does it need to be out from a wall to allow you to reach the crank? I am going through analysis paralysis on choosing a model. I previously owned a Sieg X2 and then a Taiwanese 6 x 26. Thanks

I REACH OVER AND TURN THE HEIGHT CRANK . THIS IS EASIER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE
EVEN THOUGH MY PM-727M I RAISED UP 5" FROM THE STOCK HEIGHT .

WHAT I DON'T LIKE IS CRANKING IT WHEN THE TABLE IS IN A REARWARD POSITION SO IT INTERFERES WITH THE CRANK !
