Rf-31 Head Bolts Slipping

if you can, use a grade 8 bolt with a grade 8 flat washer underneath the head. they will slide easily with each other and not gaul. ..

I found this about the RF-xx mill drills and the column bolts.

http://www.liming.org/rfmill/columnbolts.html

It talks about how the Mfg Bolts use an oversized head, and if you move up to the next size the head will fit perfect but will require turning down the center of the bolt to clear the column..

One more place for you to go for RF-XX Mill/Drill help.

http://rick.sparber.org/ma.htm

This site has a ton of help and information about the Round Column RF-xx Mill/Drills.

I have found it to be super useful.
