let me tell you concepts.

1 flower box.like a porch planter or window sill planter.

2 u-shaped porch on a house or sometimes called a horsehoe or wraparound porch.

i'll pull this together next post.it's neat!

tread heads
the flower box concept.
50's midgets are built 'flower box' style.
tubing frame is a big rectangular box section.

then you put on these fiberglass parts:
1 nose cone
2 hood
3 roll bar/tail

now don't get too into midgets, i'm going to pull a switch on this next.

that was the 'flower box' method of building.
that's my own term. just long rectangular box shaped chassis.

these following 2 methods are generally accepted.

'double tube'.
where early builders just replaced frame rails with double tubes.

'space frame'
four or more longitudinal tubes.
mine's going to be space frame.

note: i will be starting to build 1/4 scale model of frame/chassis.
in about 1 week. will post pic's.
