Rusty, Crusty Bridgeport Table

How did it turn out?
Chiming in late.
I did this very rebuild before. Boss brought in a BP which had been sitting in the rear of his garage for 10 years.
Stuff I couldn't dip I used Naval Jelly on and scotch brites. Key is to rinse with lots of water or it leaves a weird petina. If that happens, reapply Jelly and rinse quicker after removing. It was real handy for the vertical surfaces of the knee.

Contact P&B Grinding on the web or call Bill at 330-527-0366 . They are in Garretsville Ohio and recently joined HM as a sponsor. Great work at prices a hobbyist can afford!

I got all the crud removed from the table, but have gotten sidetracked re-building the head along with some health issues for me as well as my wife. I'm about to get back to work on the Bridgeport.

Once cleaned up, the table actually looks pretty good, so right now the plan is to scrape it with a razor blade and diesel fuel and stone it but I'll just need to wait and see.
