I brought this home this week.
It is a bit rough but seems to be mostly complete except it is missing the round cover on the side.
I will fashion some sort of cover for it.
The belt guards seem to be a bit fragile so I removed them while I wrastle it around, cleaning it, etc.
I removed the motor and switch too. Am going to rewire it for 110v. It was 220.
Probably won't do a lot with it till this winter.
Will be a nice project in my little shop office - the only place I have heated.
I did not get the cabinet for it but don't mind too much as I can make a stand for it.
What are the chances of ever finding an original round side cover for it?

Nice project! I like it.

Nice! Sounds like a nice winter project. I have spotted a cover on eBay a time or two.

I have seen the cover on eBay in the past but fabricating something that would work seems easy enough to get going. Just keep an eye out for one on eBay.

now you need a good heavy stand to hold both the shaper and your heavy drill head.
