Here's my Seneca Falls "star" 9 x 4
Last date cast on the bed 1916
Anyone know where I can find a cross slide ?
Thanks,Dave

Thanks
After sandblasting 95 years of grime and grease and a quick trip to the booth
It looks ok
The cross slide has been played with and I can seem to find a compund rest
I may just try to make one with my mill
I have checked out that site ,thats about the only info I have found on my lathe

Hi Mark
I just checked out the yahoo group link
are you the same Mark with the Seneca Falls info that couldn't up load to the site ?
I would be interested in looking at that
Thanks,Dave

Thanks Mark
thats a cool old catalog

Hey Mark
Do you have and can you post any pictures of your lathe ?
I would be interested in looking at your cross slide and compound rest
Mine didn't come with much and I would like to see an original setup
Thanks,Dave

Thats what am missing Mark
How tall is the compound ?
If I cant find one I will have to adjust the height of the tool post some how
I do like the quick change !!
The previous owner made a tool holder on his mill , it's sturdy but a pain to set for height
And forget cutting a taper
I wonder if I could retro fit a compound from a atlas , south bend , or some newer more common
lathe

Here are some pics Mark
It looks as though everything is there but the compound
Thanks for the pics and measurements I should be able
to match some thing close
