Has anyone used one of the so called new design power feeds on there milling machine that Shars sells yet?. I need to get something for mine . Thanks Mirage

Could you be a bit more specific?

They have started carrying "Dongwa" branded feeds, which I know nothing about.

Or possibly the "flat" design to fit the popular dovetail mills? While I dont have that flat design, I do have 3 of their PF's in the "Align" brand (or sometime with a Shars sticker) for my Bridgeport clones 3 axes. The Align brand has a good reputation and there are parts available.

I bought a Y and Z axis power feeds from the guys in the link below in the US, and they have been going strong for 4-5 years with no trouble at all. They are also cheaper than the Shars one's.

They don't seem to have them all listed at the moment, but if you contact them they have the X 135lb/150lb, Y 150lb and the Z 150lb

I purchased the 202-2208 140 in/lb power feed for the x axis on my Bridgeport a few months ago on their recommendation and have had good results. They told me to stay away from the 202-2205A 150 in/lb one I'm not sure why. I installed it myself with no problems and everything needed was there. Later on I may buy another one for the y axis, and a cordless drill and home made adapter works great for the knee.
