I've been googling the heck out of square wrenches but can't find any. My Sheldon lathe needs a 7/16 wrench for the carriage lock (and top-slide angle lock screws). I've been using a 7/16 open end wrench but it would be nice to have a proper wrench for it. Are there any good sources for these?

Also you may find them at your local welding supply shop

And some us have a half dozen floating around in our drawers.
And I always need a 5/16", or 3/8" or 1/2". I don't believe I've ever used one of mine...
- Don't it figure?

I think I may have a few lying around if you need " old " timey wrenches .

I believe you are looking for a set of sockets that are listed as 8 pt. Use them for any square nuts or bolts. My last set was from Sears but look or ask around. Hope this helps!!

Not for the purist, but check your 13mm box end wrench. My 12 point box end (from HF) is a perfect fit. I ordered a Craftsman for it, but it won't quite go.
